#6842 17:19 - The first cache found abroad during our trip. Although in Hugary, it reminded as of our target country, Azerbaijan. Just as we parked we saw a woman in chador carrying a five liter water canister, and, few meters away, a barefoot man kneeling on a blanket spread in tree shade and taking his regular prayer. T4TC!

GC434CQ - T + T's Adventures in Qusar #2 (Teresainazerbaijan, placed 22.12.2012 by Teresainazerbaijan, LyonsT)
#6858 20:20 - It's been our first, I guess. I mean the Aliyev statue, of course. It seemed strange and during our voyage thru the country it became even more stranger. But...
Look at the ancient Egypt. There are lots of its rulers statues, aren't they? And we're quite happy, today, that they build them, these days. In a way it's quite normal.
And people like this place. There were a lot of people, mothers with children, young people, all sorts of them. Sitting on the benches, running, playing catch-me-if-you-can, riding skateboards. Music played from nearby restaurant and the air was getting bit cooler. Thanks.

#6859 20:31 - After visiting the statue of the Pater patriae, we crossed the Qusar city valley and enjoyed the view from the flagstaff venue. Thanks!
GC73KC5 - Xinaliq viewpoint (runici, placed 8.4.2017)
#6860 13:41 - One of the most beuatiful places we visited in Azerbaijan. I only wish we had more time to spent here. Maybe the next time.
The cache is well hidden, but not easily accessible. That's no coincidence, I believe. So be very carefull when retrieving the container, and it's advised not to come alone. The last meters youhave to traverse steep slope, you can easily slip on the dry soil and rocks are quite eroded, they often stay in your grasp when you want to use them as a hold.
Nevertheless the nature, the air, the views are magnificient! Thanks!
Trade: I traded my personal CWG for the Polish PWG.
GC5X9JZ - Qiz Qalasi (H.E.R.A., placed 21.4.2015)
#6861 11:25 - As we came to the tower, we wanted first visit it and only after that to search for the caches (there should by three here, two international - including this one - and a Russian one). So I approached the ticket office and was told, that a ticket is 20 manat! Well, I might possibly accept it having my teeth clenched, but my friends were upset and refused. Well, I guess we were assessed as "wealthy Westerners" which might flatter some of ours post-communist compatriots, but it haven't flattered us enough to pay for a single ticket to climb a rock tower the amount, which in our country could (not always, but often) buy you a family ticket for the entire chateau tour.
The cache is not exactly where it should be. But it's in general direction and +/- also the distance. (Either way, it's not easy to guess what "covered" stands for, is it?) We have found it with the help of logs of the previous visitors. The current place is quite good and allows even a reasonable level of "stealth" searching. Thanks!
GC34Y9Q - Baku State Philharmony (EfesLover, placed 27.9.2011)
#6863 15:30 - We computed the coordinates at home and only verified them on place. No problem, so far. But having come to the GZ, we found here a bunch of fresh alumni of the State Oil and Industry University preparing to take their last photos together. Some girls even put their handbags right on the rock mentioned in hint!
When they all finally lined up on the stairs and started taking photographs, I took off to examinate the surroundings. And to my surprise the cache was just about a meter from the place we all examined before. It stood up, leaning against the banister, hidden behind a piece of flat stone!
Thanks.
GC33VFT - Surprising Football (EfesLover, placed 15.9.2011)
#6866 18:55 - I spent a lot of time solving this "mystery". But finally I had only one unknown variable - "Who might sponsor the statue?" and it left us only with some tens of meters of uncertainity. Having the hint, the logs of previous visitors and Trebbi's spoiler photo (Thanks, thanks, thanks!) we felt prepared.
And we succeeded. It wasn't easy, we had to examine a lot of filthy holes, corners and other places, but finally kantor discovered it deep in one of the holes. Hip hip hurray! We've found the one and only mystery cache in Azerbaijan! Thanks!
GC273KT - M1 22km North (R.Guszty, placed 9.6.2010)
#6902 11:49 - First cache on our way home from Azerbaijan. Well, from the Budapest Airport, where we came from Azerbaijan. Thanks.

#6904 13:33 - Going home from Hungary we accidentally entered Austria. Wow! How was it possible? Maybe the Slovakia-Hungary crossing had been jammed and Waze redirected us here. Who knows, we're just mere periferals of the advanced information systems.
Well, being here, we pulled off for this one. Thanks!
GC3G69Z - In der Nähe der Brücke (___LadYBirD___, placed 4.4.2012)
#6905 13:49 - Took us some time, but finally (after we read the hint ) we found it. Thanks!
GC5C1NP - Nahe der Schleuse (Undercover87, placed 31.8.2014 by Undercover87, don_cacho)
#6906 13:55 - Nice schleuse, or - as we say in Czech - "šlajsna" (but only when we enjoy canoeing, in normal life we say just "jez" ). Thanks!
GC5Q47Y - Maiden Tower (mamoreb, placed 3.3.2015)
The cache location is very bad chosen. It's about one meter from the information stand/ticket office and there is always a lot of prying eyes around. You simple cannot be stealth. No wonder the container is missing.
In addition is the cache in conflict with another cache, GC5X9JZ Qiz Qalasi dedicted even to the same topic. The other cache is still present (well, maybe renewed by some previous visitors) and is definitely placed better.
Although there are very little caches in Azerbijan and it's harm to lose any of them, I believe this one doesn't deserve to survive.
