#7810 14:43 - It took me more than an hour since my arrival to Falkenstein to find first cache. Well, I started by the local church collecting data for a the local multi, then I climbed the Kreuzberg, not too high, but rather steep hill, and then, then I climbed down and up to St. Urban statue. Ufff! 8)
The cache is in moderately good condition, it's not broken, but there is only the last latch of orignal four holding the lid. And it's not enough to keep the moist outside the box...xx(
So, if you plan a visit, you might consider to take a replacement lock&lock with you. Middle sized, a larger small.
Thanks for the cache!

#7811 14:58 -Not long after I came, I reckoned, that the cache is not here. But, wait! There was an uniterrupted row of Found it logs.
So, what are they saying? I searched up, then down and found it up. ... a replacement petling ... a tree ...
So I've found it, a replacement petling in the fork of branches of a tree on the left hand side of the vista point.
Thanks!

GC2GE15 - The replacement petling GC2GE15 - The bottom of a quarry GC2GE15 - A cottage in a vineyard

#7812 15:18 - This place was visited a lot this day. Well, it looked like the people like wandering all around Falkenstein. Was it just the fair weather? Or the ruins in vicinty? Or is it just common custom, to take a family walk on Sunday afternoons?
Well, as well as I was pleased seeing so many people outdoors, it was also a bit unnerving looking for the caches surrounded by so many currious eyes. Quick find was this one. And just as I put my feet on the path in front of the cave's entrance (i.e. turn my back to the cache 8)), I saw a triple of beings (man, woman and a dog) approaching. :)
Thansk for the cache.

GC2HB3N - This way!

#7813 15:41 - Walking around Falkenstein I can meet various statues and installations, chappels, stone saints, metal sheet beetles, or the mysterious masts. The last ones standing undoubtebly on guard of this cache. :D
Thansk!

#7814 16:12 - The centrepiece of my today's walk, an ancient cache publish already 15 years ago.
You can feel it while gathering the data for your calculations and then following the stages. The task formulations surely do not meet the current "standards". Which statue is "near life-size" and which not? Where are the crying people or the "nether world" respectively? Should I go ten or fifteen meters farther?
Well, nowadays this all would be definitelly at least annoying, if not substandard. But this is one the caches from the very beginning of Geocaching in Europe. Well it's not one of the oldests, but definitely one of the first generation! Thanks for keeping it unchanged!

GCK597 - ... and find the cache! ?? GCK597 - ... go to (a) hell ... GCK597 - ... find a wine cellar on a summit ... GCK597 - ... see interesting people ... GCK597 - Take the overgrown path...

#7815 16:55 - Easy find, but so many cars riding just by. :D Well, and the cabel is broken - fortunatelly it broke after I took the cache out. I remeded it, but now its couple of centimeters shorter and still corroded. TFTC!

#7816 17:34 - The next to last cache of my trip, as planned. Sitting on the moss covered concrete structure just next to the cache I got a nice view not only of Falkenstein, but also Nikolsburg and Pohlauer gebirge in the far.
And then, browsing throught the logbook, I discovered, that my long lost friends marked a FTF here years ago. Thanks for the cache!
