#1370 14:23 - There is so little of caches in Mafra... And some of them were impossible to hunt for this day. There was possible a pledge day in local military base, because the park next to the Palace was ful of yound men in uniforms surrounded by their relatives and eating the goodies their mum prepared for them. So I was very happy for this cache hidden on an empty place surrounding the cute church. :) Thanks!

[FOUND] GC1C4D9 - A Lenda do Cabo da Roca (pirata playmobil, placed 10.5.2008)

#1371 16:06 - Luckily we met no witches, maybe as there was neither my mother's house there, nor I was five years old but forty years older. ;)

Nevertheless the way to the cache was beautiful, thru the flowering bushes well off the crowds.

Thanks!

#1372 16:30 - Well, finally I visited the westernmost point of the European mainland. :) Oh, what a joy! Indeed, I like the places on the edge, where something ends and some another starts.

I sat with my daughter on a stone not far from the monuments, on the edge of the cliff, both looking westward (Thanks, GPS!) enjoing the sun, the wind and the lookout.

To measure the proof-stone I had to ask a group of children sitting on it and having a snack. I asked them to move from it just for a minute, but they were so pleased to understand my English ;) that they left completely. Well, it's easier not to go there and here, too.

Thanks for your cache!

[FOUND] GCQXZP - 250th Anniversary of 1755 Lisbon Earthquake (play mobil, placed 1.11.2005 by Bargao_Henriques (adopted by play mobil))

#1373 18:52 - We just bought some Belem pastels in a nearby pastel shop and headed to the park to eat them. I mention "A cache is here." and then we saw a man carefully examinating trees on one side of the path and a woman studying bushes on the other side. "Cachers," my daughter said.

And indeed, they was! A couple from Finland who had come to visit the megaevent held the day before (yeah, the one I missed because of bad planning :(). "We've been looking for it more than 20 minutes," they told us. So we agreed, that the cache was missing. I wrote down the woman's tracking number and we were to part. Just to avoid future self-reproaches, I touch an obvious location and shortly examined it with my fingers - and the cache was found!

"You... woman!" shouted the man at the woman in pretended anger. So we logged together and then separated.

Thanks for your cache!

[FOUND] GC8C23 - Picture your Flag [Lisboa] (ricardobsilva, placed 9.9.2002 by Ricardo Silva)

#1374 21:02 - We walked along all the flags and the one of our country wasn't there... Czech Republic clearly hadn't particitated. :( So we took pictures of European Union, though we hadn't been members of it then, either. :O And, in addition, of the countries we felt somehow affiliated - Beths with Japan (she likes Japan a lot) and me with Austria (as a legitimist monarchist I can't accept the dissolution of Austro-Hungary in 1918 :)).

Thanks for the cache!

#1375 22:34 - Being here at night, it was quite easy for me to find the G spot. :) Thanks for the cache!

[FOUND] GC2PAKZ - EDIFICIO ECRAN (jose ribeiro, placed 25.2.2011)

#1376 22:44 - When I was about twenty or thirty meters from this cache, my GPSr's battery died. So I went to the nearest bench, sat on it a changed the batteries for the fresh ones. After short time, whem my GPSr went to life again, I could see, that the cache was about two meters from me. Considering the GPS precision I looked at the bench I was still sitting on and, indeed! The cache sat right by me, some 20 cm from my buttock! :D

Thanks!

[FOUND] GC2N0R7 - The Wall (Team_Martinez, placed 28.1.2011)

#1377 22:49 - Even at the night there was quite a lot muggles around, taking dogs out, parking cars, smoking or just walking. So it took a small waiting bfore I could pick the container. :)

[FOUND] GC2D4QG - Marina Parque das Naçoes (jose ribeiro, placed 19.4.2011)

#1378 23:01 - Nice hide! I was completely alone on the catwalk, so alone I started afraid of night guards getting suspicious. Though the signal was very bad here, so no exact locating was possible. I searched all possible hideouts one by one and when I finally dound the container, I almost knocked it down, into the water.

Thanks for showing me a nice place and for the cache, too!

[FOUND] GC2KB2P - Passeio de Neptuno (jose ribeiro, placed 14.12.2010)

#1379 23:07 - I was pleasantly surprised what a big container you managed to hide on such place! Thanks for the cache!

[FOUND] GC25K0T - The Pavilion of Knowledge of the Seas - Expo98 (jlsousa, placed 21.3.2010)

#1380 23:15 - Another nice place in the Expo 98 area. I sat on the catwalk, surrounded only by water and plants, took the cache out from its hide and logged my visit in calm. TFTC!
