#1332 11:47 - Going from Coimbra to Porto I took wrong turn and after about half an hour we were in the mountains... There was a traffic jam in the opposite direction, so the only way remaining as to cross the range between us and the litoral area. And suddenly we were just about a hundred meters from this cache!

Imagining the armies fighting in such a mountaineous terrain I blessed the God letting me live in better times. Nevertheless the scenery was beautiful.

#1333 18:28 - Oh, such a nice place! I like revitalized old building, especially the industrial ones, in coexistence with modern architecture. And I like water in the cities, too.

We met here a local cacher. Just after our arrival a slim man looking at the display of his portable device came here, too. Without any hesitation he examined the underneath of the broadway and then descended beneath it. I followed him on the opposite side. Short time passed and we knew the cache isn't here. We introduced ourselves and the man took his hone and consulted his colleagues while returning to the surface. I was returning there too and during it I noticed the cache. Of course! Considering the difficulty and the terrain it couldn't have been beneath! We logged together and parted then - he headed to the centre and we to our car parked near the Convento das Carmelitas.

#1334 18:42 - Very clever hideout at a calm place! We came criss-crossed thru the streetlets, because OpenStreetMaps in my GPSr weren't too accurate here. But we were rewarded by a nice micro. Thanks!

#1336 19:03 - Found so easy, that now, logging more then a month after my visit in Aveiro, I cannot recall any details. Nevertheless - thanks for the cache!

GC2PZKC - Farol da Barra de Aveiro (lmpinto, placed 31.3.2011)

#1337 19:39 - Going to Barra after visiting Aveiro I wouldn't believe it was going to be my only beach stay during my visit of Portugal. The sun was almost setting down and the air was getting colder. We found the cache easily and could it log almost unnoticed, because most of the muggles were already at the restaurants or went home. Thanks for the cache!

#1338 20:10 - Uh, oh! Logging now, a month after my visit, I can see we were the last, who found the cache! I hope, that it wasn't me who caused any troubles. I can't remember well, but taking the container out (or putting it back?) some muggles might observe me. I haven't noticed them before I turned back from the hideout. But we stayed nearby several other minutes climbing the wave breaker and watching the setting sun till everyone left. So I became confident that everything is O.K.

Or maybe I've hidden the container too well. It took us several minutes to find it, though there is not too much hiding places there. So maybe we were just the last cachers patient enough. I hope so!

GC16TT0 - Terreiro de Sansao (lestro, placed 20.10.2007)

#1339 22:33 - During my visit to Cimbra I stayed only som ten or fifteen meters from this cache, in a pensao in the same block of houses. But I could log this cache only on my third day there. There was too much of muggles when I had attempted earlier and some of them looked at me a bit suspicious.

Today, on our late return from Aveiro, it was a lot easier. I was surprised to find a box similar to the ones used sometimes on busy places in Czech towns, too. Thanks!
